I received my B.A. from Illinois State University and M.A. from the University of Illinois before attending law school at Northern Illinois University. I believe my schooling and ties to the local community allow me to better represent the needs of individuals from this area who are facing criminal charges in Central Illinois. Before opening my own practice in Bloomington, I worked in the McLean County State Attorney's Office. During my time there, I handled the prosecution of misdemeanors, DUI/DWI cases, and traffic offenses. This experience as a prosecutor provides me with an insight into the criminal justice system that I use to help my clients better understand the charges they are facing.
